In the context of the Spanish Aquaculture International Action Plan 2007/2008, the Spanish Secretariat-General for Maritime Fisheries liaised with Fundación Innovamar, to host an International Aquaculture Brokerage Event in Madrid on 27-28 November 2007, providing an optimum venue for a technological/entrepreneurial meeting designed to break new ground in the establishment of collaboration schemes on an international basis. The event constituted a forum for more than one hundred and seventy participants from European, Latin American and Canadian corporate and research sectors.
